Role Overview
As a Trainee, you will be responsible for configuring and testing Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration System based on client requirements. The role involves setting up system parameters, validating configurations, supporting testing activities, and ensuring that solutions meet business and technical specifications.
You will work closely with project teams, analysts, and stakeholders while gaining exposure to software development processes, database technologies, and quality assurance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and test Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System
- Set up and maintain system tables and parameters based on business requirements
- Analyze client requirements and implement system configurations accordingly
- Support testing and validation activities
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards and project objectives
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain project documentation and configuration records
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAS & Mainframes principles/concepts
- Knowledge in Simple & Complex SQL Queries
- Writes intermediate SQL queries
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAS, Mainframe principles/concepts
- Principles of automation testing and some exposure might be desirable
- Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Ability to break down a complex problem into smaller, more manageable pieces and able to understand and describe the relationships between those pieces (i.e. good analytical skills)
- Apply basic relational database concepts (e.g. table relationships, keys, SQL and DB2 queries etc.)

Selection Process
